ON JOE BIDEN'S "GREEN" BODY COUNT

Op-Ed: Biden’s GREEN Body Count

The following Op-Ed is written and submitted by Paul Plante.

How many times now have we heard it said by Democrat Joe Biden that for there to be progress, somebody has to be hurt?

Yes, people, as Joe Biden says, and he would know because he is president and presidents know these things, progress is indeed disruptive to the status quo and as we will soon see from the New York Daily News article “E-bike battery blaze in Queens kills man and hospitalizes 10 others: FDNY” by Nicholas Williams and Thomas Tracy on January 21, 2023, progress, especially the “green” progress being pushed by Joe Biden to save the galaxy and universe from global warming, which will make Joe a hero, “green” progress can be quite deadly, as well.

But as Joe says, people, we will not be conquered by things like these, because, well, they happen, how can there be progress afterall if somebody is not hurt, people being hurt a necessary and sure sign that progress is indeed being made, and as a people, and as a nation, we will endure and not only will we endure, but we will emerge from this a better people, a stronger people, a more equitable people and just all-around nice people, which is a win-win-win-win for the nation and Biden regime.

And so that we can see what I am talking about, and the glorious future “GREEN JOE” Biden is leading us into, however reluctantly on our parts, which is why we all need Joe as our leader, let’s go to the story to see what happened and why it is a sure sign of “GREEN PROGRESS”, to wit:

A man was killed and 10 others were hospitalized when a charging e-bike battery sparked a raging Queens fire that tore through a home near LaGuardia airport, police and fire officials said Saturday.

end quotes

So, okay, yes, somebody did get killed here, but that is part of how progress is achieved, by studying these things and learning from these things, which is how we become a better and stronger people, those of us who survive, anyway, which takes us back for more details, as follows:

The blaze is the first fatal fire sparked by the lithium-ion batteries used in e-bikes and electric scooters this year, FDNY officials said.

Last year, six people died in fires caused by these batteries.

“How many places have caught on fire because of these things?” stunned neighbor Anette Ruiz asked as she looked over pieces of the burned e-bike scattered on the ground outside the scorched brick-faced home.

“It’s very dangerous and they continue to sell these things,” Ruiz, 26, said.

“At the end of the day it’s harmful and people can lose their life.”

end quotes

But with run-away global warming that threatens to wipe us all out in the next year or so if we don’t go GREEN ON STEROIDS, that is a small price to have to pay.

Going back for more details, we have:

A charging e-bike in the first-floor hallway of the 89th St. home in Jackson Heights exploded into flames around 11 p.m. Friday, officials said.

“[It] sounded like pops from the backyard,” neighbor Steve Gutierrez said.

“I saw the black smoke coming from back there.”

A moment later, building residents were running into the street, Gutierrez, 23, recalled.

“They were calling for a ladder in Spanish,” he remembered.

“Once I saw the fire get on the electrical wiring, that’s when I was like ‘Ok, let’s get everyone out of the house.’”

The burning e-bike was next to a first-floor staircase when it caught fire, FDNY officials said.

The resulting inferno was so intense that it burned through the first-floor and second-floor staircases, causing them to collapse as firefighters entered the building.

With the staircases burned through, firefighters had to bring in portable ladders to get up to the second and third floors as the fire raged around them.

Firefighters found a man in his 60s on the second floor of the three-story home suffering from smoke inhalation.

He was rushed to Elmhurst Hospital where he died.

The victim’s name has not been released as cops try to track down family members.

Six other residents of the home — which included a 57-year-old woman, a 45-year-old man and a 33-year-old man — who were rescued from the building, were taken to area hospitals with smoke inhalation, but were expected to recover.

Four firefighters suffered minor injuries as the staircases they were on collapsed around them, an FDNY official said.

About 100 firefighters responded to the blaze, which took about an hour to snuff out.

The fire threatened to spread to other homes, but was contained before it damaged any other addresses, firefighters said.

end quotes

So, okay, people, yes, there was a fire and yes, somebody died as a result, and a lot of other people are now homeless, but that is the price of freedom from global warming and CO2, people.

Before that E-bike battery exploded and burned down the house, think how much CO2 it kept from going into the environment and causing global warming which could kill us all, while this fire only killed one person, which takes us back for more details, to wit:

Lithium-ion batteries were responsible for more than 200 fires in the city last year, FDNY officials said.

About 140 people have been hurt and six people have been killed in these fires, authorities said.

That’s more than double the number of lithium-ion battery fires the FDNY saw in 2021, when 100 fires were linked to e-bike and scooter batteries.

The FDNY has repeatedly warned about the dangers of placing e-bikes and scooters near staircases, which would cut off means of escape if they catch fire.

Fire officials have also cautioned against allowing the batteries to charge overnight.

Most of the batteries that spark fires are pre-owned and resold and not compatible with a new device or have been damaged by repeated wear and tear on the roads.

Some landlords, as well as several colleges, have banned lithium-ion battery-propelled scooters and e-bikes from their buildings because of the potential dangers.

The City Council is also considering legislation to regulate the sale of the batteries.

The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission sent a letter to 2,000 manufacturers and importers of e-bikes and other e-devices late last year urging them to comply with relevant safety standards due to an uptick in fires.

end quotes

And there we have it, people – signs of progress in the bold new GREEN WORLD of American president Joseph Robinette Biden, Junior, a true AMERICAN HERO if there ever was one!

Paul R Plante, NYSPE says:

For the record, I have to confess in writing this above post that I am from not only a different century in America when things were markedly different from what they are today, which would certainly do something to color my views on Joe Biden’s INSANE GREEN DREAM, but also from a different millennium, as well, which makes my views on reality very much out of the mainstream, which views mark me out not only as an anachronism (belonging or appropriate to a period other than that in which it exists), but a dinosaur, as well, way out of sync with these times I now find myself in, where GREEN FEVER is consuming the minds of the American people and making them insane like Joe Biden.

I am also what is or was known, since I might be one of the few left surviving, as a “Debbie Downer” type of engineer, you know the type, always critical, always looking for weak points and flaws and then pointing out the serious weak points in someone’s REALLY GOOD IDEA, like E-bikes with lithium batteries, and solar panels and windmills, which makes people feel bad about themselves, having their REALLY GOOD IDEA ripped to shreds since it was stupid in concept to begin with.

So what happened to the “Debbie Downers” like me who were always looking for the flaws in somebody’s REALLY GOOD IDEA?

That is simple – we were replaced by a whole new generation of engineers trained right from kindergarten to be “yes men” or “yes women,” also known as RUBBER STAMPS, and called “civilized engineers” who are team players, never being critical so that everybody can end up feeling good about themselves and all warm and squishy inside, as well.

And where does that lead to?

Why, today, of course, because we sure did not get here by accident.

So where then is the “here” these rubber stamp engineers have brought us to?

One answer to that question is to be found in the Bloomberg Business News article “Wind Turbines Taller Than the Statue of Liberty Are Falling Over -Breakdowns of towers and blades have bedeviled manufacturers in the US and Europe” by Ryan Beene and Josh Saul on January 23, 2023, https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles ... source=MSN where we have “here” described as follows, to wit:

On a calm, sunny day last June, Mike Willey was feeding his cattle when he got a call from the local sheriff’s dispatcher.

A motorist had reported that one of the huge turbines at a nearby wind farm had collapsed in dramatic fashion.

Willey, chief of the volunteer fire department in Ames, 90 miles northwest of Oklahoma City, set out to survey the scene.

The steel tower, which once stood hundreds of feet tall, was buckled in half, and the turbine blades, whose rotation took the machine higher than the Statue of Liberty, were splayed across the wheat field below.

The turbine, made by General Electric Co., had been in operation less than a year.

“It fell pretty much right on top of itself,” Willey says.

Another GE turbine of the same model collapsed in Colorado a few days later.

end quotes

But hey, people, NOTHING to worry about, because well, they’re not all falling down, just some of them, but that is to be expected because without them falling down, we will never learn how to make them stay up, and then there will be no progress at all.

And I would encourage people to go to that link and scan those pictures in there to see what the GREEN FUTURE Joe Biden has brought us looks like in real life.

Or go to this YouTube video titled “Wind Tower Collapses In Major County” https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yWiAgNjQBtM to see exactly what I am talking about.

Probably a lot less than having your house burned down by an exploding lithium battery is my thought.

Re: ON JOE BIDEN'S "GREEN" BODY COUNT

Post by thelivyjr »

THE CAPE CHARLES MIRROR JANUARY 30, 2023 AT 6:47 PM

Paul Plante says:

So let us take a moment here to see if we can all assimilate what the issues here might be with Joe Biden’s INSANE GREEN DREAM, and a good place to start is with these giant windmills Joe Biden wants to cover not only the land mass of the United States with, but also all of our coastal waters, as well.

And here (yes, I know this stuff is boring crap that is dense and hard to understand, and besides it’s somebody else’s job to understand it) we have to consider something known as “rotor tip speed,” which simply is “how fast is the end of a windmill blade on a giant BIDEN-esque windmill traveling when it smacks an eagle or a migrating goose into oblivion?”

We need to know things like that, or anyway, there was a time in America before the advent of the RUBBER STAMPS so essential today to Joe Biden’s plans to “GREEN” America to save us all from being baked alive by run-away global warming which threatens to destroy America maybe in the next three weeks, or even less, when people did know things like that because they were important to know.

We need to know things like that so we can determine the stresses on the system, which includes the foundations, the towers, and everything attached to the towers, which is the generator and rotor blade.

So we start with a simple question, to wit: HOW LONG ARE WINDMILL
BLADES?

And one answer we get is as follows:

Turbine blades vary in size, but a typical modern land-based wind turbine has blades of over 170 feet (52 meters).

The largest turbine is GE’s Haliade-X offshore wind turbine, with blades 351 feet long (107 meters) – about the same length as a football field.

end quotes

However, (remember, people, it’s about progress, regardless of the cost because the American taxpayers are footing the bill), we also have this to consider:

What is the longest wind turbine blade?

(LZ Blades) has rolled out a 123-metre long blade which the company claims is the world’s longest wind turbine blade.

The blade, which will be adapted to be installed on 16 MW offshore wind turbines, weighs 50 tonnes, exceeds 5 metres in diameter, and has a swept area that surpasses 1,00 square metres.

end quotes

So that we are all on the same page here, 50 tonnes equals 110231 pounds, and of more importance right now, 123 meters equals 403.543 feet, which is the radius of a circle, the diameter of which would be rounded off to 807 feet for the sake of convenience.

And people, believe me, this is what is called “cocktail napkin” engineering because we are talking about the application of very basic concepts learned in high school or earlier these days that can be detailed on a cocktail napkin, they are so basic and simple.

Getting back to tip speed for this massive windmill blade, we multiply the diameter by 3.14 to get a circumference of 2533.98 feet.

Now we know that shaft speed for these windmill generators is between 10 and 20 RPM (revolutions per minute) so for the sake of this exercise, let us take the lower value of 10 RPM times the circumference of 2533.98 which gives us a tip speed of 25339 feet per minute or 287.94318 MILES PER HOUR, and that is at 10 RPM!

If the RPM’s are higher, then the tip speed goes up commensurately, so that 20 RPM would give a rotor tip speed of 575.88636 MILES PER HOUR.

Consider that the Boeing 737-700 has a cruising speed of 514 mph to give one an idea of just how fast the tip of that 110231 pound windmill blade is traveling when it smacks that goose or eagle into oblivion!

And when you look at those failed windmills, just think about the forces required to make that happen, and how those forces could possibly be generated, and we will pick this up again after a pause for station identification!

Paul Plante says:

And while we are on the subject of failed windmills, the windmills Joe Biden wants to plaster our sea coasts with to supposedly make us independent of fossil fuels, which of course is going to save not only America and the world from getting boiled alive by global warming, which threatens to make the human race extinct in as little as a few months from now unless Joe acts and acts decisively as only Joe Biden can act, which is why he is president instead of somebody else, but the universe, galaxy and cosmos, as well, let us go back in time to April 6, 2022 and a Workboat article titled “Ørsted calls for ‘no-sail zones’ after turbine blades fall at Denmark wind array” by Kirk Moore, Wind News, where we have the future Joe Biden is bequeathing us in his INSANE RUSH to meet the administration’s arbitrary decarbonization goals, where Joe wants to raise 30 gigawatts of offshore wind power by 2030 — a pledge that will require pushing 16 individual wind farms through the regulatory gauntlet by the end of Biden’s first term, with the focus on the word “PUSHING,” which with Joe means “RAM THEM THROUGH, NO QUESTIONS, NO DOUBTS RAISED,” where we have as follows:

Wind power company Ørsted asked maritime authorities to declare ‘no-sail zones’ around eight of its European offshore wind projects after a rotor assembly separated and fell into the sea at one site off Denmark.

end quotes

“No-sail zones?”

This stuff is straight out of Atlas Shrugged, or National Lampoon or a Mel Brooks movie!

So while you are on shore and your chances of having one of Joe Biden’s massive windmills fall on you are less than the likelihood of having your house burned down by an exploding Biden lithium battery, when you get in your pleasure craft for a cruise or your fishing boat, the odds are getting better, although it might only be a windmill blade, and not the whole windmill.

And can you imagine the sheer chaos in this country that would occur if Joe Biden started declaring “no-sail” zones around all the wind farms he has plastered our coasts with?

Going back to that article, we have more as follows, to wit:

The failure happened at the Anholt Offshore Wind Farm, and involved a Siemens Gamesa turbine with nameplate capacity of 3.6-4 MW.

The 400 MW-rated Anholt array was commissioned in 2013 and consists of 111 of those Siemens Gamesa machines.

There were no injuries in the incident which was reported to authorities, according to a statement from Ørsted.

“We are investigating the cause of the incident, and as an extraordinary precautionary measure, we are requesting the relevant authorities to establish ‘no-sail zones’ at all of our offshore wind farms that use the same turbine as at Anholt,” the company said.

“So far, the investigation has not pointed to a systemic cause of the issue, but we have taken this precautionary step as safety is our first priority.”

“The assets continue to operate as normal with the relevant safety protocols, and customers in the relevant markets will not be affected.”

The company asked maritime authorities in the United Kingdom, Denmark and Germany to keep vessels clear of eight other turbine arrays in their waters: West of Duddon Sands, Lincs, Gunfleet Sands, Burbo Bank and Walney 1 & 2, all in the UK; Borkum Riffgrund 1 in Germany; and Avedøre Holme in Denmark.

“At the offshore wind farm of Anholt in Denmark, which is under service with Ørsted, a rotor was detached from one of the turbines,” according to a statement from Siemens Gamesa.

“The reason for this is still unknown, but Siemens Gamesa is working together with Ørsted to determine the root cause and decide on next steps.”

Situated in the Kattegat strait between Denmark and Sweden, Anholt is 50 percent owned by Ørsted along with Danish pension fund partners Pension Danmark with 30 percent and PKA holding 20 percent.

The Siemens Gamesa turbines were state of the art in earlier years of offshore wind development but will be far overtaken by the oncoming generation of more powerful designs.

Siemens Gamesa and GE will build new models with nameplate capacity of 14 MW.

Paul Plante says:

And as if this were slap-stick comedy as opposed to serious business, here comes Joe Biden’s prat-falling Secretary of Transportation Peter Paul Montgomery Buttigieg in the Fox News story “Pete Buttigieg: EV incentives needed or ‘warming happens just a little quicker and a few more people die'” by Hanna Panreck on 1 February 2023, where we have Peter, now the world’s leading expert on EV’s, pontificating as follows in order to keep more of us from dying of global warming, as opposed to being killed by a falling windmill tower or being burned up in a house fire caused by an exploding Biden lithium battery, and here, while we’re on that subject, a bit of research on fires caused by lithium batteries in cars reveals this important information from WCNC in Charlotte, N.C. in the article “Yes, electric car battery fires burn hotter than an engine fire in a gas car,” to wit:

Author: Sarah Beckman

Published: 10:14 PM EDT April 6, 2022

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Electric vehicles are still a relatively new technology and researchers are studying their potential risks.

It seems Americans are curious about the new cars too.

One viewer recently asked us about electric vehicle battery fires, saying she’s seen on the news that these fires burn hotter than fires in gas-powered vehicles.

THE QUESTION

Does an electric vehicle battery fire burn hotter than an engine fire in a gas car?

THE SOURCES

Emma Sutcliffe, director of EV FireSafe, a research project based in Australia looking into the risks of electric vehicle fires to first responders.

A study from Hong Kong Polytechnic University on battery fires in electric vehicles

FEMA

THE ANSWER

This is true.

Yes, an electric vehicle battery fire burns hotter than one in a gas-powered car, and quite a bit hotter.

WHAT WE FOUND

First, it’s important to understand what’s inside an electric vehicle.

It consists of two sections of batteries.

The first is a 12-volt battery.

It’s used to power windows and heating/cooling.

The second is a high-voltage traction battery, giving the car momentum.

Researchers say it’s the high-voltage traction battery with individual battery cells that poses the most risk for a fire in an electric car.

Sutcliffe’s team found that while electric vehicle battery fires are rare, they act differently than a fire in an internal combustion engine.

“What we have seen in early testing and early reports is that an electric vehicle battery fire flame can burn up to 2,700 degrees Celsius,” Sutcliffe said.

In U.S. terms, that’s nearly 4,900 degrees Fahrenheit.

FEMA says in traditional vehicles, fire burns around 1,500 degrees Fahrenheit.

end quotes

By way of comparison, to see just how hot that lithium fire is, cremation of deceased human beings takes place in a specially designed furnace, referred to as a cremation chamber or retort, and exposed to extreme temperatures – up to 1,800 degrees Fahrenheit – leaving behind only ashes.

Getting back to Peter, we have as follows:

Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg said Wednesday that electric vehicles need to be “quickly mainstreamed” because lower-income Americans would benefit from them the most.

end quotes

Which is hogwash, plain and simple, as we shall soon see by doing some digging here for facts with which to rebut that very stupid claim by Peter that lower-income Americans would benefit from EV’s the most.

According to Forbes in June of 2019, Peter made a six-figure salary as mayor of South Bend, so one has to wonder (yes, I am definitely in the low income class) if Peter has ever actually met a low income person, or knows how they must live, making his ridiculous claim that they would benefit by owning an EV.

I certainly wouldn’t, for many common sense reasons Peter is obviously unaware of, starting with just how are we supposed to recharge them.

Peter lives in a high-end apartment in the Capitol Hill neighborhood in Washington, D.C. and maybe as a result, Peter has access to a vehicle charger there, but those of us who are actually low income do not have such a luxury available, especially as pursuant to section 625 of the National Electric Code, twenty-five (25) feet is the longest output cable length that can be provided on an Electric Vehicle (EV) charging station.

Going back to Fox, we have more from Peter, as follows:

Buttigieg replied that there had to be incentives that encouraged U.S.-based manufacturers to produce electric vehicles so that the electric revolution is “made in America.”

end quotes

The electric revolution is “made in America?”

If the clueless Peter had bothered to check his facts, which would be a lot of work for him to do, I admit, Peter would know as grade school children in this country once did know, that in the U.S., the first successful electric car made its debut around 1890 thanks to William Morrison, a chemist who lived in Des Moines, Iowa.

And if we go to Energy.gov, we find this relevant information, to wit:

Not an invention of modern times, the electric car has a long and storied history.

end quotes

So why doesn’t Peter know that?

Why do there have to be incentives (US government corporate welfare) that encourage U.S.-based manufacturers to produce electric vehicles so that the electric revolution is “made in America” when the electric revolution began in America as far back in time as 1828, and beginning in 1996, General Motors built the EV1, which was the first modern electric car designed for a mass market, which vehicle became the focal point of a national discussion about innovation and the promise of reducing air pollution and dependence on oil with electric cars?

Think about it, people, and we will be right back after station identification to pursue this subject further.

Paul Plante says:

And before we go back to Biden Secretary of Transportation Peter Paul Montgomery Buttigieg in the Fox News story “Pete Buttigieg: EV incentives needed or ‘warming happens just a little quicker and a few more people die’” by Hanna Panreck on 1 February 2023, the other day, I saw a political cartoon with a windmill with ice-coated propeller blades on one side, and on the another, some hapless dude with his BIDEN-MOBILE plugged into a charging station and he is on his cell phone saying “but I got it plugged in right and still nothing is happening.”

And since a picture is worth a thousand words, take a minute to open this Associated Press link on an AP story titled “Germany: Wind turbine collapses hours before official launch” on September 30, 2021 to see what a modern-day windmill looks like when it has self-destructed and has come raining down in pieces to create an expensive pile of junk that doesn’t make electricity, anymore, OH, THE HUMANITY:

https://apnews.com/article/business-eur ... 087d50ed6b

That windmill which was to have a big celebration for it that same day was just six months old.

But let’s go back to Fox News and Peter Paul Montgomery Buttigieg, once a mere small town mayor with no real accomplishments other than being thought nice, who is now one of the most important persons in the world because Peter is going to save us all from dying of global warming, where we have more Peter as follows:

Buttigieg replied that there had to be incentives that encouraged U.S.-based manufacturers to produce electric vehicles so that the electric revolution is “made in America.”

He also said it was important that it happens quickly so that the U.S. “can meet our climate goals.”

end quotes

To be correct here, those are not “our” climate goals, those are Joe Biden’s arbitrary and capricious climate goals that are being imposed on us by executive fiat, which takes us back to Fox and Peter, to wit:

“Like any early technology, the early adopters of electric vehicles were people with a lot of means, a lot of resources.”

“But this is something that needs to get quickly mainstreamed, especially when you consider that the Americans who stand the most to benefit from having an EV are lower income Americans paying a higher share of their family budget on gas prices,” he added.

end quotes

And let us stop right there, a moment, because first of all, electricity, whether it comes from a coal-fired turbine, a gas-fired turbine, a windmill generator or a solar cell IS NOT FREE, and secondly, it is their ELECTRIC BILLS that the low income people are having trouble paying, as we see in this UtilityDive article titled “Retail electricity prices continue rapid rise; US homes could pay more than 15 cents/kWh next year: EIA – More than 20 million families are behind on their utility bills, and their debt is growing, according to the National Energy Assistance Directors Association” by Robert Walton, Senior Reporter, on September 9, 2022, to wit:

The federal government expects the price of electricity will continue to rise into 2023, and consumer advocates warn that customer arrears are rising as well.

end quotes

The federal government expects?

But doesn’t Peter work for the federal government?

Shouldn’t he know that?

And of course not, because as a failed Democrat presidential contender, Peter has a sinecure (a position requiring little or no work but giving the holder status or financial benefit) with the federal government, not a real job where he would actually have to know something and be competent, which takes us back to UtilityDive, to wit:

The average price of electricity for residential consumers could reach $0.1524/kWh in 2023, the U.S. Energy Information Administration forecast on Thursday in its latest Short Term Energy Outlook.

That would represent about a 3.3% increase from this year — and EIA says prices are already 7.5% higher today than they were in 2021.

The agency is forecasting U.S. residential electricity prices will average about $0.1475/kWh in 2022, up from $0.1372 in 2021 and $0.1316 in 2020.

If EIA’s 2023 forecast is accurate, that would indicate an almost 16% increase in electricity prices in the four-year period.

end quotes

So that is all the stuff Peter Buttigieg doesn’t know, because Joe Biden doesn’t expect Peter to know anything, which if he did would make Peter a political threat to Joe, who also knows nothing, but let’s go back to the article to see what those high electricity prices are doing to real, not theoretical, low income people in America, to wit:

“These are very high prices and will not be affordable for many households,” Mark Wolfe, executive director of the National Energy Assistance Directors Association, said in an email.

NEADA represents state directors of the federal government’s Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program.

In August, the group released data showing U.S. families have about $16 billion in utility debt, up from $8.1 billion at the end of 2019.

The average amount owed rose from about $403 to $792, the group said.

“We expect to see continued high arrearages accrued by families who cannot afford to pay these high prices on top of continued high rates [of] inflation in other essential goods like food and shelter,” Wolfe said.

So what is Peter’s solution?

Make those people have to buy an expensive EV they can’t afford so they can wrack up even more debt!

Stupid is as stupid does!

But there is more:

Congress added $4.5 billion to LIHEAP as part of the American Rescue Plan Act, but NEADA maintains that the amount is “insufficient.”

And here for the moment, I will rest!

Re: ON JOE BIDEN'S "GREEN" BODY COUNT

Paul Plante says:

And staying with this Fox News story “Pete Buttigieg: EV incentives needed or ‘warming happens just a little quicker and a few more people die’” by Hanna Panreck on 1 February 2023, we have more ignorant pontificating from Joe’s Peter on why we all need to buy EV’s to save ourselves from dying of climate change instead of COVID or being killed by an exploding lithium battery in an E-cigarette, or being incinerated by an exploding lithium battery in BIDEN-MOBILE next to us while caught in a bumper-to-bumper traffic jam, to wit:

“So like if we didn’t care whether the EV revolution was going to be led by China, if we didn’t care whether or not U.S. manufacturers with high labor standards were going to be at the cutting edge, then I guess we could have not bothered with the incentives and see how that played out, if we didn’t care about the pace of it, right?”

end quotes

You da man, Peter, so of course it has to be right, because you said it, even if it sounds as stupid as it does with this ignorant “EV revolution” horsecrap you are peddling without having a clue as to what you are talking about, which takes us back to Fox, as follows:

“And if we said, look, these will happen sooner or later, if these climate wins come a few years later and that warming happens just a little quicker and a few more people die because of that, that’s why we have policy interventions,” Buttigieg said.

end quotes

“Climate wins?”

What climate wins?

What on earth is this idiot talking about?

Where is anyone seeing any kind of “climate wins” here?

And who has died of climate change?

Is that a new cause of death being mandated by Joe Biden’s CDC to be put on death certificates, the way COVID was being put on death certificates, even if the person really died of multiple gunshot wounds?

And let’s talk about “policy interventions,” which is a cute way of saying “ONLY THE GOVERNMENT OF JOE BIDEN, THE LEVIATHAN OF OUR TIMES, KNOWS WHAT IS BEST FOR ALL AMERICANS, SO DO WHAT THE GOVERNMENT TELLS YOU TO DO, BECAUSE IF YOU DON’T YOU WILL DIE OF CLIMATE CHANGE!”

But while we are on that subject, which “policy intervention” means more and more lithium batteries being brought into the ENVIRONMENT where they most certainly are a real hazard and a time bomb ticking, as we see in a Business Insider article titled “An e-cigarette caught fire on board a Delta flight” by Benjamin Zhang on March 17, 2016, where we have as follows:

A Delta Air Lines flight was delayed Wednesday night at Hartsfield Jackson Atlanta International Airport after an e-cigarette belonging to a passenger ignited on board the flight.

Fortunately for everyone involved, emergency personnel was able to extinguish the e-cigarette with no injuries or damage to the aircraft.

According to the airline, there were 166 passengers and crew on board the McDonnell Douglas MD90 aircraft at the time of the incident.

Delta Airlines issued the following statement in reaction to the incident:

“During the boarding process of Delta Flight 689 traveling from ATL to STL around 7 p.m. Wednesday night, a customer’s bag ignited from an e-cigarette.”

“The bag was safely extinguished with no damage to the aircraft.”

Much of the concern around the safety of e-cigarettes center on its lithium ion batteries that have shown a propensity to ignite if they are damaged.

end quotes

Which brings us to the story of poor Austin Adams, a 17-year old at the time of the incident last March, who was using an e-cigarette at home when it exploded, fracturing his jaw and causing him to lose several teeth, according to The New York Times.

And then there is the Washington Post story “Exploding vape pen caused Florida man’s death, autopsy says” where we learn that the cause of death was not really from climate change, at all, but instead was listed as “projectile wound of head,” because the pen exploded into pieces, at least two of which were sent into his head, the Pinellas-Pasco Medical Examiner said — and he suffered burns on about 80 percent of his body.

And that, people, is from a LITTLE lithium battery in a vape pen.

TIME BOMBS TICKING, TICKING, TICKING, when you stop to consider that the battery in the smallest BIDEN-MOBILE next to you in the traffic jam, or God forbid, a multi-car crash on a foggy road, weighs ONE THOUSAND POUNDS, and can go up to 3,000 pounds in a bigger vehicle and once they get burning, it is hell to play to get them extinguished. because as kindergarten children these days learn in their advanced technology course, and as fire fighters have discovered in recent years, lithium-ion battery fires are prone to reigniting because the lithium salts in the battery are self-oxidizing, which means that they can’t be “starved out” like a traditional fire.

So much for Joe’s Peter who is going to save us from dying of climate change, so we can die of incineration by burning lithium batteries, instead!

Paul Plante says:

Personally, I can’t believe these fools in the Biden administration are arrogant enough to believe that they can actually control the earth’s climatic patterns to make the climate actually stop changing, which can only be accomplished by making the earth stop rotating on its axis and come to a complete halt, which is going to screw royally whomever gets caught on the dark side when the Biden crowd makes the earth stop spinning.

These BIDEN-MOBILES or JOE CARS Peter Paul Montgomery Buttigieg is pushing on us as Joe’s transportation secretary in order for Peter to be able to score a “climate win,” which will make him not only a national hero, but an international and intergalatic hero, as well, really make a spectacular fire when they burn after a crash, and consider that the driver and passengers are sitting above the burning battery:

Electric car crashed and burst into flames

Paul Plante says:

And talk about a real pyrotechnic display going off next to you as you make your way down the road in heavy traffic as somebody’s E-Scooter or PETER BIKE suddenly erupts into flames next to you as its lithium battery explodes like in this video of exactly that happening, and talk about “getting a hot seat,” this is a good one, which has us wondering if one day, we will wake up and tune into the Cape Charles Mirror to find screaming headlines proclaiming that up-and-coming Democrat great white hope to take the reins of power from Democrat Joe Biden when Joe decides to pass them on Peter Paul Montgomery Buttigieg was incinerated on a busy Washington Street in rush-hour traffic when his E-scooter suddenly erupted into a pillar of flames that made poor Peter look like a Roman candle there for a while, to wit:

Electric scooter catches fire, burns passenger
