Op-Ed: On Democrat Women’s Rights

Special Opinion to the Mirror by Paul Plante.

If we follow the daily news to stay abreast of current events as we are supposed to do as responsible American citizens, or at least as I was taught to do in the 2d grade back in the last century and millennium, a long time ago in a much different version of America, I must admit, we find Biden vice president Karmela Harris out on the campaign trail screeching and hollering about Democrat “women’s rights” as we see, for example, in this Fox News article titled “VP Harris credits nonexistent federal agency with approving mifepristone: watch” by Greg Wehner on 23 April 2023, where we have Karmela ranting and venting, as follows:

Harris sat down for an interview with Noticias Telemundo’s Vanessa Hauc which was aired on Friday evening, where the Vice President spoke about abortion and the changes taking place in the U.S.

“Let’s set the scene.”

“Many months ago, the highest court in our land, the United States Supreme Court, took a constitutional right that had been recognized, from the people of America – from the women of America – which is the right to make decision about your own body and your own reproductive health,” Harris said.

“The government should not be telling that woman what to do with her body.”

“This evokes, in my mind, very fundamental rights, including the right to freedom for each individual about what is in their best interest.”

end quotes

Or we have the 1945 article “Kamala Harris: Worst Vice President Ever?” by Peter Suciu on 17 April 2023, where it is made more clear what audience Karmela’s message was really intended for, which is not all women in America, given that according to a Pew Research Poll on June 13, 2022, Democrats and Democratic-leaning independents are 42 percentage points more likely than Republicans and Republican leaners to say abortion should be legal in all or most cases (80% vs. 38%), to wit:

She spoke on Saturday in Los Angeles to abortion rights supporters and urged Americans to take action during “a critical point in our nation’s history.”

Harris made the surprise stop at one of the many rallies and she managed to speak to the audience without spouting her nearly trademark “word salad” of rambling statements.

Instead, her message to the liberal base was actually quite strong.

“And so this is a moment that history will show required each of us – based on our collective love of our country – to stand up, and fight for, and protect our ideals.”

“That’s what this moment is,” Harris said near the steps of the Los Angeles City Hall, the Associated Press had reported.

“When you attack the rights of women in America, you are attacking America.”

end quotes

But is that true in the case of liberal, progressive and Democrat “women” in America, that they have any rights whatsoever?

If we do as we are supposed to do, which is to follow the science as is laid down for us to follow by the Biden administration and the Democrats themselves, who are the experts, afterall, given they are in charge of this country, it can’t possibly be true that Democrat women have any rights, precisely because the Democrats and their own scientists and lawyers and even a Biden Supreme Court Justice have no clear idea of what a woman really is, or even if such a thing as a woman actually exists, as we clearly see by going to a USA TODAY article on that very subject titled “Marsha Blackburn asked Ketanji Brown Jackson to define ‘woman.’ Science says there’s no simple answer” by Alia E. Dastagir on March 27, 2022, where we have as follows concerning the non-existence of Democrat and liberal and progressive women, to wit:

In the 13th hour of Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson’s confirmation hearing Tuesday, Sen. Marsha Blackburn, R-Tenn., asked the Supreme Court nominee: “Can you provide a definition for the word ‘woman’?”

Jackson, appearing confused, responded, “I’m not a biologist.”

end quotes

The next question should have been, “well, what exactly do you think you are,” which probably would have confused her even further, but that question never came, perhaps to spare her the embarrassment of not knowing what she is, given she is not a biologist and so couldn’t possibly know herself.

But enough about her, given she is not a biologist – what does the science we are following say?

Let’s go back and take a hard look, to wit:

Scientists, gender law scholars and philosophers of biology said Jackson’s response was commendable, though perhaps misleading.

It’s useful, they say, that Jackson suggested science could help answer Blackburn’s question, but they note that a competent biologist would not be able to offer a definitive answer either.

Scientists agree there is no sufficient way to clearly define what makes someone a woman, and with billions of women on the planet, there is much variation.

end quotes

So, people, if scientists cannot say what a woman is, then logically and rationally, how can they possibly have any rights whatsoever, given to have rights, you first must have existence?

But according to the Democrats, they don’t have existence, thus they cannot have any rights, and Karmela Harris and all the Democrats and liberals and progressives can’t have it both ways – saying out of one side of their mouths that they don’t know what a woman really is, while saying out of the other side that notwithstanding, they still have rights.

So which is it?

In that same article, Rebecca Jordan-Young, a scientist and gender studies scholar at Barnard College whose work explores the relationships between science and the social hierarchies of gender and sexuality states as follows, to wit:

“There isn’t one single ‘biological’ answer to the definition of a woman.”

“There’s not even a singular biological answer to the question of ‘what is a female,'”

end quotes

Which seems to nail it as far as the Democrats, liberals and progressives are concerned.

If they don’t know they are women, and can’t tell if they are women, and have no way of proving they are women, then it logically follows that with respect to Democrats, liberals and progressives, they have no rights whatsoever.

So back to you, Karmela, and by the way, what exactly are you?

Or like Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson, haven’t you a clue?

Paul R. Plante says:

And here I would ask everyone to show some serious compassion for our J Wheaton because it is not his/her/they/them’s fault that he/she/they/them cannot read or assimilate the written word – it is the fault of society and a failed educational system that does not educate people because society does not on the one hand demand it, and on the other, really prefers ignorance, as it sets everybody then on the same plane, which is the goal of TALL POPPY SYNDROME as it exists in late-stage democracy, just before a civilization falls and is no more.

These so-called “scientists” and “gender lawyers” J Wheaton is relying on to justify calling men women when in fact they are men are Biden Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson apologists, which is to say Democrat/liberal/progressive political hacks posing as scientists, because today, people, while someone like myself who is an engineer must first follow a prescribed and accredited course of study, followed by an apprenticeship and two rigorous qualifying exams to be licensed as an engineer, there are NO such requirements to call oneself a scientist, and so many do, as is the case here, even when they are stupid, as is the case, and don’t know what they are talking about, but say it anyway out of a sense of political loyalty.

And since J Wheaton has brought us over to this path, with his/her/they/them’s premise that men are really women and despite not being, still should be considered as such, because Joe Biden does, let us pursue that path further from the perspective of real biological women who have no confusion about being women, as do the Democrats. liberals and progressives who don’t know what women really are, because they are not biologists, and because context is all important in this discussion, and it is about Joe Biden, not me, as he has proclaimed himself PRESIDENT OF THE TRANSGENDERS, not biological women, and thus, has set in motion policies that are highly discriminatory towards biological women, who Joe seems to have some serious issues with, let us go to a Fox News article titled “Lia Thomas exposed ‘male genitalia’ in women’s locker room after meet, Riley Gaines says: Dropped ‘his pants’ – Gaines is calling on the NCAA to establish separate locker rooms for transgender athletes participating in female sports” by Yael Halon on February 9, 2023, to see the true harm Joe Biden’s discriminatory policies are doing to biological women in this country, taking from them the protection of law in favor of Joe’s men who he considers women, even though equipped with male genitalia, to wit:

Women’s sports advocate Riley Gaines is calling on the NCAA to establish separate locker rooms for transgender athletes competing in female sports after she and her teammates were forced to undress in front of University of Pennsylvania swimmer Lia Thomas after a meet last year.

In an interview on “America Reports” Wednesday, the 12-time All-American and five-time SEC champion urged the National Collegiate Athletic Association to make separate locker rooms for transgender athletes, recounting her own discomfort when she was exposed to Thomas’ “male genitalia” in a women’s locker room after a meet.

“We were not forewarned beforehand that we would be sharing a locker room with Lia.”

“We did not give our consent, they did not ask for our consent, but in that locker room we turned around, and there’s a 6’4″ biological man dropping his pants and watching us undress, and we were exposed to male genitalia,” Gaines said.

end quotes

To Joe Biden, of course, that is perfectly acceptable, as we shall see by going back to that article, to wit:

As a spokeswoman for the Independent Women’s Forum, Gaines said the NCAA not only fails to protect the integrity of women’s sports, but it has become a champion of transgender female athletes in recent years.

“Of course, after NCAA championships, the NCAA then nominated Thomas for NCAA Woman of the Year, so we [they] are celebrating this movement.”

“This is not something that happened by chance on a one-off basis,” she said.

“They are encouraging [biological] men to compete in women’s sports.”

Gaines also faulted the White House for promoting “gender ideology propaganda,” accusing the administration of pushing for more female-identifying men to compete in women’s sports across the country.

“Honestly, you have all these people all the time tell me how courageous it is to speak to this and how brave I am, but truthfully does it make someone brave to just acknowledge women deserve equal opportunities?” she asked Fox News host John Roberts.

“That’s how far we have come as a society and within our culture.”

After graduating from the University of Kentucky, Gaines planned on pursuing a career in dentistry.

But as the White House and others encourage the participation of transgender athletes in women’s sports, the 22-year-old said she has put her dental school ambitions on hold to advocate for female athletes who are afraid to speak out.

“People are terrified, especially speaking from my experience of talking to other NCAA swimmers specifically.”

“Lia Thomas’s teammates even.”

“They are told their school has made their stance for them.”

“They are told if they feel uncomfortable seeing male genitalia in the locker room, they should seek counseling resources.”

end quotes

Think about that, people, those of you with daughters or granddaughters who are biological women who are being harmed by Joe Biden’s discriminatory policy that has made the very concept of “women’s sports” into a hollow mockery.

And there for the moment I shall rest.

Paul R. Plante says:

With regard to the bullying the Biden administration is subjecting these biological women to by forcing men posing women on them in their sports, and dressing rooms, if we look up the word “misogynist” in the dictionary, it is defined as a person who dislikes, despises, or is strongly prejudiced against women, and with his ANTI-BIOLOGICAL WOMEN policies with respect to women’s sports, which Joe Biden has unilaterally and dictatorially opened up to men calling themselves women, we can see very clearly that Joe Biden is in fact a CLASSIC MISOGYNIST!

As to the bullying of biological women as a result of Joe Biden’s transgender policies which force women to have to compete against men in women’s sports, a perversion of the term by Joe Biden, let’s go back to the Fox News article titled “Lia Thomas exposed ‘male genitalia’ in women’s locker room after meet, Riley Gaines says: Dropped ‘his pants’ – Gaines is calling on the NCAA to establish separate locker rooms for transgender athletes participating in female sports” by Yael Halon on February 9, 2023, where we have as follows, to wit:

“They’re told they will never get into grad school if they speak out,” Gaines said.

“All of these terrible, awful things that are not true.”

“They are told, of course, that they will be called a bigot and hateful and transphobic, but it doesn’t make you any of those things to acknowledge that there are two sexes, you cannot change your sex and women deserve opportunities.”

end quotes

That, people is bullying of biological women trying to defend women’s sports being for women, not men claiming to be women!

Why is it being tolerated?

Why are so few people speaking out?

Out of fear of retaliation from Joe Biden?

Which thought takes me back in time to Philadelphiensis VIII on January 23, 1788, where we have as follows:

Hail, immortal genius! hail, thou friend of freedom, and of thy fellowmen, whose patriotic pen first wrote this divine sentiment, “Let it be impressed upon your minds, let it be instilled into your children, that the liberty of the press is the palladium of all civil, political and religious rights of freemen.”

This is the scourge of tyrants, oppressors, villains, and blood suckers; the bulwark of freedom, that causes the haughtiest lordling to tremble; an inestimable jewel, that places the poorest citizen on a level with the richest demagogue.

end quotes

Thank goodness we in here do have the Cape Charles Mirror so we can add our voices to that of Riley Gaines and other oppressed biological women to scourge the tyrant and oppressor Joseph Robinette Biden, Junior for his misogynistic ill treatment of these biological women who are our daughters and grand daughters.

Silence gives consent, people!

Which side are you going to be on?

Paul R. Plante says:

And while we are “following the science” in here, Democrat-style, because the Democrats are in possession of their very own DEMOCRAT PARTY SCIENCE, a science, people, that is one hundred percent guaranteed to be ideologically pure, let’s go back to the USA TODAY article which started this discussion titled “Marsha Blackburn asked Ketanji Brown Jackson to define ‘woman.’ Science says there’s no simple answer” by Alia E. Dastagir on March 27, 2022, where we have as follows concerning the DEMOCRAT SCIENCE OF WOMEN on display, to wit:

In the 13th hour of Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson’s confirmation hearing Tuesday, Sen. Marsha Blackburn, R-Tenn., asked the Supreme Court nominee: “Can you provide a definition for the word ‘woman’?”

Jackson, appearing confused, responded, “I’m not a biologist.”

end quotes

And that response, of course, is right out of the CLASSIC DEMOCRAT PLAYBOOK that says when confused by a simple question, especially in the case of a Biden supreme court nominee, play dumb and claim to not be a biologist, for which you will get cheered by your fellow Democrats, as we see by going back to that article, as follows:

Scientists, gender law scholars and philosophers of biology said Jackson’s response was commendable, though perhaps misleading.

end quote

Jackson’s response that she could not say what a woman was because she is not a biologist was commendable?

That is a crackpot statement from these unnamed Democrat scientists, gender law scholars and especially the Democrat philosophers of biology, precisely because biology itself is defined as the study of living organisms, divided into many specialized fields that cover their morphology, physiology, anatomy, behavior, origin, and distribution, while the philosophy of biology is the branch of philosophy of science that deals with biological knowledge, which is where these Democrats get hoist on their own petard because it is biological knowledge that men and women are anatomically different, especially the structure of the male pelvis, which is significantly heavier and thicker than that of the female, with male pelvic bones being adapted to fit a more massive and sturdy body architecture.

The iliac crest of the male pelvis rises higher than the iliac crest of the female pelvis, and there is a greater distance between the anterior superior iliac spines of the female pelvis when compared to the male pelvis.

This usually gives women a curvier appearance in the hip region, as compared to the average male.

Although the female pelvis is wider than the typical male pelvis, these bones are thinner and lighter than the denser, rougher bones of the male pelvis.

The pubic arch is typically going to be much wider in women than in men.

The pelvic brim of the female is generally larger than the male’s inlet, which facilitates childbirth.

The male inlet is smaller and heart-shaped.

The sacrum of the female is shorter, wider, and has a greater curve, whereas the male sacrum is thinner, longer, and is less curved.

The coccyx bone of the male curves more toward the front of the body in comparison to the female’s coccyx.

It is further biological knowledge that men and women also differ in that the sex differentiated as females have ovaries and produce eggs, and males, who have testes and produce sperm, and in mammals, females typically have XX chromosomes and males typically have XY chromosomes.

So going back to USA Today, it is patently ridiculous to say that a competent biologist would not be able to offer a definitive answer either as to what a woman was, when it is biology that defines what a woman actually is, which is not a male.

The same too for this statement that “Scientists agree there is no sufficient way to clearly define what makes someone a woman!”

Given that the science of biology clearly defines what makes someone a woman, we can see that these Democrat scientists who don’t know what a woman is are idiots and morons and lunatics posing as scientists, which takes us this moron Rebecca Jordan-Young, a scientist and gender studies scholar at Barnard College whose work explores the relationships between science and the social hierarchies of gender and sexuality who states as follows on the subject, to wit:

“There isn’t one single ‘biological’ answer to the definition of a woman.”

“There’s not even a singular biological answer to the question of ‘what is a female,’”

end quotes

In the light of reality as expressed above, citing the difference between male and female as determined by biology, she is a fool.
