That pretty much sums it up right there, alright!

That's why I started these Livyjr Files way back when, so I would be able to go back in time and say, "hey, what about this on such and such a date!"

On another note, another all-night downpour which is still coming down ...

Send us some, especially to the Sequoia National Forest. We had a beautiful orange moonrise last night - beautiful until I realized that the source of the orange was the Sequoia fire up north.

Three and a quarter inches this time, jeffmoskin ...

Over three feet of snow given powder snow being a foot to the inch of rain ...

I saw a Wooley Bear with a lot of black on both ends and not much brown in between which is a sign of a hard winter ahead ...

If it keeps up with the amounts of moisture we have been getting, inches of rain every so many days, then we will be literally buried deep in snow this winter which will bring things to a standstill ...

Shouldn't have messed with Mother Nature is my thought, but too late for that now ...

Sad but true - herd culling time ...

And we have nobody to blame for that but ourselves ...

In the meantime, Mother Nature gave us a fantastic sunset last night ...

The whole western horizon was an intense band of a darker red color that was quite beautiful to see ...

I wonder how much of that "red" we provided.

I actually was wondering about that same exact thing ...

Looking at it, you would have thought it was a huge fire, but for the fact that it was steady, not flickering and there was no smoke plume ...

Pretty awesome it was ...
