Sadly, no.

I read about a new plan to find the porous underground channels using helicopters with special sensors. The idea is to feed storm water (when it comes) into those channels to recharge the depleted reserves that the farmers have been pumping out for 100 years. Very interesting. I am optimistic.

We got barraged with rain up here last night, and we even had thunder ...

And right now it is a balmy 47 degrees!

It is indeed late for thunder, but maybe it was in from out of town and wasn't aware of that ...
