Op-Ed: Biden’s Climate Crisis Balderdash and Malarkey
The following Op-Ed was written and submitted by Paul Plante.
Yes, people, in addition to the literal multitude of other lies and falsehoods Joe Biden down in Washington is peddling, and here I am referring to a Rigzone article titled “Despite Economic Hurdles the US Says Climate Crisis Is Opportunity” by Bloomberg & Jennifer A Dlouhy on February 13, 2023, wherein Lizzie Klein, an environmental lawyer and clean energy champion who is a veteran of the Interior Department, having previously worked in the agency under former Presidents Bill Clinton and Barack Obama, and was just appointed director of the Bureau of Ocean Energy Management by Joe Biden, hysterically and might I also say mindlessly screeches at us, thusly, to wit:
“The president has been clear that we are in a climate crisis,”
Which is a ridiculous and very stupid statement for Joe Biden to make, although totally in character for him, and even more stupid of her to be repeating it out loud in America, where unlike Joe Biden and the lickspittles, lackeys and sycophants that comprise the bulk of his administration, we are not stupid, because it is meaningless drivel to talk about a “climate crisis” because as any second grader these days knows inside and out, it is that simple and basic, a “climate crisis” is IMPOSSIBLE precisely because there is no “climate” that can be having a crisis, where “crisis” means “a time of intense difficulty, trouble, or danger, as in “the current economic crisis caused by Joe Biden’s misguided economic policies.”
So what is “climate” then, if we can’t have one?
The answer to why we can’t have one, is because in the United States of America, we have a multitude of climates, which is precisely why the National Weather Service has an informational website for children that admittedly is above Joe Biden’s level of comprehension and is titled “Climate Zones,” where the schoolchildren are informed, as follows, to wit:
The earth’s tilt, rotation and land/sea distribution affect the global weather patterns we observe.
While the weather varies from day-to-day at any particular location, over the years, the same type of weather will reoccur.
The reoccurring “average weather” found in any particular place is called climate.

For the record, and despite Joe Biden and the Democrats with their “climate equity” program where they are going to guarantee underserved communities where ever they are the same nice climate the rich folks in Burbank, California get to enjoy, the continental USA is not “any particular place,” but instead is a huge collection of many such “particular places,” ALL with their own unique climates, because “climate” in any given place is affected by temperature, humidity, precipitation, winds & ocean currents, solar radiation, topography, and latitude & elevation, as we see by going back to the NWS website, to wit:
German climatologist and amateur botanist Wladimir Köppen (1846-1940) divided the world’s climates into categories based upon general temperature profile related to latitude.
He worked with Rudolf Geiger to modify these categories which is known today as the Köppen-Geiger climate classification system.

Seriously, people, these are lessons for children, so why doesn’t Joe Biden the self-proclaimed “leader of the free world” know this stuff?
Why is he screeching like Chicken Little about a “climate crisis” when such a thing is an impossibility?
Going back to the NWS and things children know that Joe Biden doesn’t know, and why a “climate crisis” is an impossibility, we have as follows:
The major categories are as follows:
A – Tropical Climates
Tropical moist climates extend north and south from the equator to about 15° to 25° latitude.
In these climates all months have average temperatures greater than 64°F (18°C) and annual precipitation greater than 59″.
B – Dry Climates
The most obvious climatic feature of this climate is that potential evaporation and transpiration exceed precipitation.
These climates extend from 20°-35° North and South of the equator and in large continental regions of the mid-latitudes often surrounded by mountains.
C – Moist Subtropical Mid-Latitude Climates
This climate generally has warm and humid summers with mild winters.
Its extent is from 30°50° of latitude mainly on the eastern and western borders of most continents.
During the winter, the main weather feature is the mid-latitude cyclone.
Convective thunderstorms dominate summer months.
D – Moist Continental Mid-Latitude Climates
Moist continental mid-latitude climates have warm to cool summers and cold winters.
The location of these climates is poleward of the “C” climates.
The average temperature of the warmest month is greater than 50°F (10°C), while the coldest month is less than -22°F (-30°C).
Winters are severe with snowstorms, strong winds, and bitter cold from Continental Polar or Arctic air masses.
E – Polar Climates
Polar climates have year-round cold temperatures with the warmest month less than 50°F (10°C).
Polar climates are found on the northern coastal areas of North America, Europe, Asia, and on the land masses of Greenland and Antarctica.
H – Highlands
Unique climates based on their elevation.
Highland climates occur in mountainous terrain where rapid elevation changes cause rapid climatic changes over short distances.

Where is the “climate crisis” an existential threat, where “existential” means “concerned with existence, especially human existence as viewed in the theories of existentialism?”

And more to the point of this series of essays, what is Joe on about when he says “We have an obligation to our children and grandchildren to confront the existential threat of the climate crisis?”
How are we to logically and rationally confront (meet face to face with hostile or argumentative intent) this alleged “climate crisis” when the term “climate” as we were taught as mere children means the weather conditions prevailing in an area in general or over a long period, like 30 or more years?
By all going out and holding hands and screaming our little lungs out saying over and over and over again, “HEY, HEY, HO, HO, THE CLIMATE CRISIS HAS GOT TO GO?”
To control the climate, which really is what Joe Biden is claiming we all can do if only we can all come together, Joe Biden has to be able to control the weather, something I know is impossible for me, but then, let’s face it, I am not Joe Biden.
As mere children, we were taught that the climate zones of Earth are areas with distinct climates, which occur in east-west direction around the Earth, and can be classified using different climatic parametres, and we were taught that it is the earth’s tilt, rotation and land/sea distribution that affect the global weather patterns we observe, not Joe Biden.
And we were taught that climate is the average of the weather patterns in a location over a longer period of time, usually 30 years or more.
So what Joe Biden is claiming to be able to do is to actually control the weather over every square inch of the earth, as if we would be stupid enough to even want to put such control in the hands of a senile fool like Joe Biden, which has Joe Biden claiming the powers of a GOD who can control the weather itself, in order to control the climate, so he can confront the non-existent “climate crisis” Joe does believe exists.
I for one, however, DO NOT believe Joe Biden is any kind of god, or if he is, he has to be one of the most stupid and inept of them, and since I don’t attribute the god-like powers of controlling the weather to the likes of Joe Biden, I do not believe for a minute that he can control the climate.
And as we were taught as children, except for Joe Biden, who apparently either wasn’t taught a thing when young, or was incapable of understanding, it is the water cycle, not CO2, which controls the weather by absorbing and releasing heat energy, which in turn, affects the weather patterns across the globe.
When the water evaporates into the atmosphere, heat energy is absorbed.
Once the water vapor condenses and falls back into the surface, heat is transferred from the atmosphere toward the ground.
So for this loud-mouth braggart Biden to actually be able to control the climate, which is long-term weather patterns, he has to be able to control the water cycle ALL OVER every square inch of the earth.
And while we are on this subject of Joe Biden’s “CLIMATE CRISIS” (BE SCARED, PEOPLE, BE VERY SCARED, DON’T THINK FOR YOURSELVES, THERE ISN’T TIME, TRUST JOE AND DO AS HE SAYS OR WE WILL ALL DIE), weather, which we are to believe Joe Biden, with his God-like powers can control over every inch of this planet’s surface, is defined as the state of the atmosphere at a place and time as regards heat, dryness, sunshine, wind, rain, etc.
So for Joe to control the climate, which we are to believe he can do, senile fool that he is who can’t even control our airspace, we have to believe that Joe can actually control the state of the atmosphere at every place and at all times as regards heat, dryness, sunshine, wind, rain, etc.
The elements of weather and thus, of climate, which is merely the average of weather conditions over 30 years or more, are those quantities or properties that are measured regularly and include: a) air temperature, b) humidity, c) type and amount of clouds, d) type and amount of precipitation, e) air pressure, and f) wind speed and direction.
And the local weather that impacts our daily lives results from large global patterns in the atmosphere caused by the interactions of solar radiation, Earth’s large ocean, diverse landscapes, and motion in space.
So for this goofball Biden to control climate, one, he has to be able to live forever, which apparently as an IMMORTAL he is able to do, and then over every inch of the earth’s surface, every second of the day, Joe has to be able to control air temperature, humidity, type and amount of clouds, type and amount of precipitation, air pressure, and wind speed and direction, while also controlling the interactions of solar radiation, Earth’s large ocean, diverse landscapes, and motion in space.
And pardon me if I don’t believe this fool Biden is up to the task, and by the way, while the fool Biden with his INSANE GREEN DREAM where he sees himself in control of the climate, along with the beasts of the land and fishes of the sea, is totally unaware of it, as he is of most things, CO2 is REQUIRED for living things that are green, like our food supply, to be able to grow because plants require carbon dioxide in order for the process of photosynthesis to occur enabling the plants to grow, flower and in the case of vegetables produce fruit.
Reduce the CO2 in the atmosphere, and you stunt the growth of the food supply.
A simple concept.
That is why CO2 is injected into the air inside greenhouses, to enhance growth.
Too bad for us that simple concepts are above Joe Biden’s level of comprehension.

Please note well the language of that second sentence where it says “large photovoltaic (PV) fields can also influence the climate,” because it is a NATURAL LAW that you cannot change one thing on the earth’s surface without in some way affecting everything else, as well, and that is just as true with solar farms as it is for burning fossil fuels.
And here, we are going to be confronted with a new word, a big word with three syllables in it, which puts it outside the comprehension of Joe Biden, who struggles with one syllable, and that word is (SHUDDER SHUDDER) “albedo,” and before anyone panics here, albedo, a very important concept Joe Biden’s cadre of climate scientists ignores because they can’t model it, and everything with them is about computer models of what they think reality is, is simply a measure of the proportion of the incident (incoming) light or radiation that is reflected by a surface, including house roofs, snow fields, deserts, etc.
Albedo is measured on a scale of zero to one, with “white” or reflective surfaces being one, to indicate almost all incoming radiation from the sun is reflected back into space, which is why snow fields are cold, while black surfaces like paved parking lots and black roofs, etc., which absorb almost all incoming solar radiation, have an albedo number of zero.
White reflects, black absorbs and all other colors of the earth in between partly absorb and partly reflect, ALL of which affects the climate, which as we have demonstrated is an average of the weather in a place over a long time period.
So with that stated, let’s go back to the article as follows:
The albedo of solar panels is low to allow efficient light absorption, but actual conversion efficiency is below 20%.

And with respect to changing the environment, people, focus on that low conversion efficiency number for Joe Biden’s vaunted solar farms, and then ask yourself this question, to wit:
WHERE THEN DOES THE OTHER 80% GO IF ONLY 20% PERCENT ACTUALLY MAKES POWER?
And the answer is:
The remaining 80% of the energy is reflected, re-emitted as thermal radiation or dissipated as sensible heat (H).
These effects can heat the surface, influence local air circulations, and lead to the formation of “heat-islands”.
Such effects are particularly significant in desert areas with high radiation load and high background albedo.

My goodness, people, whoever would have thought it – Joe Biden’s solar panel farms as “heat islands” influencing local air circulations which in turn affect the weather, given that you cannot add heat to the system without that heat itself causing change.
How come we don’t hear about this from Joe and his climate scientists who actually believe solar panels are perpetual motion machines?
Anyway, going back to the study, after going through some mathematical calculations, which is what science is all about, the authors arrive at the following conclusions, to wit:
These preliminary results are being extended to include thermal emission effects and the annual scale perspective to assess the “PV forest” radiative forcing effect.
But it is evident that the land use change examined here has a large impact on the surface energy budget and its surrounding environments.

And truthfully, in this day and age of the internet having direct access to the minds of America’s youth, it is so very easy to poison the minds of America’s youth without the adult population even being aware that it is happening, and for a clear example of intentional mind poisoning of the minds of America’s K-12 students, let’s go back to the UCAR Center of Science Education site for grades K-12 (children), where we were told that the main causes of the creation of heat islands are changes in the land surface by urban development along with waste heat generated by energy use, which is entirely consistent the Environmental Systems Research paper published 10 May 2020 and titled “Waste heat: the dominating root cause of current global warming” by Qinghan Bian in Environmental Systems Research volume 9, Article number: 8 (2020), where we had as follows:
Pursuing GHG (green house gas) reductions by means of all resources and efforts has turned out no result to stop or even slow the global warming: the globe still gets warmer and warmer, especially in the recent years, at record-breaking rate almost each single year.
Additionally, no definitive relationship has been found between the warming and the atmospheric GHG concentration.
The link between them even in IPCC’s report lacks support and is unconvincing.
All these imply that something else is responsible for the warming.
