And a gas giant is also known as a failed star.

Works for me.

You gonna by a $59 bible from tRUMP? I hear it is autographed by JC himself.

I'm thinking of going for the collector's item edition for $74.99 with the signature of JC gold embossed on the leather cover with a nice introduction and very touching dedication by JC, thanking tRUMP for all the advice on how to be successful tRUMP gave him over the years that managed to make JC into JC SUPERSTAR, which edition also comes with a nice collection of glossy photos featuring tRUMP and JC at various stages of JC's career development, including tRUMP teaching JC how to walk on water, which JC says in the introduction was a miracle unto itself!

The "Miracle" (or disaster IMHO) is that tRUMP got elected in 2016. Caused me to drop out of the Democratic Party. I don't want to be a member of any party that puts up a candidate who cannot beat a complete gas bag like TFG.

Well said, jeffmoskin!

Who'd a thought it would ever come to this when we were young?

When we were young, the Repubs had a liberal, conservative and middle of the road wing. Same with the dems. Now, the Repubs are cult followers of TFG, and the Dems are mostly liberal except for Manchin and Sinema (who is now an independent).

Yes, times have indeed changed since we were young. My first vote (at age 21 back then) was for a liberal republican - Jack Javits - a long time progressive for down-state NY.

I also voted for Repub John Lindsey for mayor. He was a good man, but not strong enough to play in this league. Mike Quinn called a transit strike on Lindsey's first day on the job. Lindsey had to walk to City Hall from Gracie Mansion. It was about 10 degrees F that day.

Your big city politics were far different than small-town politics, jeffmoskin ...

Up here back then, dog catcher was always hotly contested ...

Did you have them down there on the ballot?

He was no John Kennedy ...
